Artist Bio:
Creating art has been a life long passion for me and I’ve been blessed with the passion for painting and seeing the world through art filled eyes. I live and work close to Charleston, SC, where there is an endless supply of inspiration! I love to use luscious oil paint to show the beauty and local color while adding intriguing color notes for interest. I paint both en plein air and in my studio, having collected many reference photos with hopes to paint them all. For many years, I would take photographs and say, “Someday, I will paint that!”

She is honored to have her work hang in private collections across the United States and Europe.
Rosie is a member of the American Impressionist Society, juried member of the Oil Painters of America, American Society of Marine Artists, and Charleston Artist Guild Gallery and 2016-2018 President of the Charleston Artist Guild and has been juried into shows in South Carolina, North Carolina and Missouri. She has studied under several nationally known artists from which she continues to develop her own personal style. Part of the learning process has also been to get involved with the business and governing of local art societies and councils.
