All Charleston Artist Guild members and their guests are cordially invited to attend our monthly general meeting.
We have the great pleasure of welcoming Larry Moore as our March guest speaker. His work in oils can be found in galleries around the country including most recently Horton Hayes Gallery here in Charleston. Larry’s presentation, entitled “Thoughts, exercises and practices to inspire authentic creativity,” will be from the book he’s been working on for the last year and a half on the creative process for artists. He will present the keys to achieving a unique voice and the processes of “idealing” acquired over a 45-year career in art. Larry’s background in visual communication includes experience as a nationally recognized/awarded Graphic designer, Art director, Creative director, Illustrator and Fine artist. His articles and works have been published in Plein Air Magazine, American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, Outdoor Painters, Create magazine, American Artist Workshop magazine and Pastel Journal. Society of Illustrators’ Gold medalist, Communication Arts, Print and Society of Illustrators’ best of annuals.

Our social will begin at 6:30 pm followed by the official meeting and a presentation from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm.
*Members please remember to bring a snack to share. Finger foods are preferred. Try to deliver your snacks between 5:45 pm and 6:15 pm to allow enough time for set up.
