She is an exhibiting member in the Charleston Artist Guild; Goose Creek Artist Guild where she served as President, Vice-President and Treasurer, and also is one of the founding members of the Art Guild of Daniel Island. Her education includes Regents Art Diploma from Smithtown High School, New York, certificates in Graphic Art and Photography from Visual Arts Institute, Baltimore, Maryland and several courses at Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland. She has studied with many artists in Maryland as well as South Carolina.

Karol’s work can be found in private collections in South Carolina, Maryland, Connecticut and Virginia. Her work has been exhibited in solo shows as well as group shows in South Carolina and Maryland where she has won many awards.

She is currently showing in the Charleston Artist Guild Gallery, and at the North Charleston Art Gallery.

Prior to becoming a full time artist she owned KA Typesetting and Graphics in Gaithersburg, Maryland, was employed with the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland and the City of North Charleston, South Carolina working in the Cultural Arts Departments, and also taught children and adult art and craft classes. When she is not creating art, Karol enjoys volunteering for art related events.
