Blaine Dixon

Blaine Tailer-Kimball Dixon resides on Folly Beach and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina. Born and raised on the coast and in the California desert, Ms. Dixon’s work often incorporates imagery from the dramatic landscapes of both California and South Carolina, while excavating the layers and facets found in the human experience. Her mediums include ceramic sculpture, ink, oils and acrylic. She has a B.F.A. in art and has completed graduate work in art, music and education at several universities. Her work has won awards and has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including Artrain, Michigan Ceramics, The Los Angeles Museum of Science and Industry, South Carolina Watermedia Traveling Exhibit, Palmetto Hands Governor’s Traveling Exhibit.
